James Milne

James graduated in 2026 from Royal Holloway University with an undergraduate degree in Ecology & Conservation, with written dissertations on avian Afro-Palearctic and winter migration. Following that, he joined Bioscan as an Assistant Ecologist. Much of his role is currently as a project-based Ecological Clerk of Works, working with protected species such as badger, water voles and reptiles. Prior to joining Bioscan, James worked as a Field Entomologist for a start-up company, focusing on soft-fruit pollination research.
